The business is driven by a strong commitment to environmental and social sustainability. Our service reduces group member’s environmental impacts in numerous ways indicated below. As part of our interpretation of sense-of-place and urban sustainability AllGreenedUp restricts its delivery area to just three suburbs - Rozelle, Lilyfield and Balmain. 

The business model draws on 25 years of experience of buying wholesale produce weekly at Sydney’s Flemington Markets and then sorting the produce into family-scale boxes for subsequent local distribution. We encourage small families to share their produce box with a near neighbor so that they can also participate in the AllGreenedUp service.  

Recipients benefit in a number of ways compared to buying produce at the supermarket:

• Excellent value – your produce box will always significantly out-compete retail outlets in terms of total box value
• Fresher produce – with fruit and vegetables spending less time in cool stores or on shop shelves before it reaches your home
• Delivery to your door ahead of the weekend, giving you more family time
• Reduced environmental impact, in terms of avoidance of plastic bags, other excess packaging, car trips and the resources burden of produce imported from overseas.
